ACE SPEEDWAY ANNOUNCES NEW GENERAL MANAGER

February 8th, 2010 – Altamahaw, NC – Ace Speedway announced today the hiring of Brad Allen as new general manager of the 54 year old track located outside of Elon, NC.

“We are very excited about Brad joining the Ace family. We believe that Brad’s extensive experience in motorsports and his relationships in our community will help Ace to position itself for future success,” said Ace Speedway owner Abraham Woidislawsky.

Brad has a long history at Ace, including more than 15 years of late model stock and modified racing which included more than 25 feature event wins and 3 consecutive track championships in 2006, 2007 and 2008, as well as participating in the prestigious late model event at Martinsville Speedway. As a fan, Brad witnessed the tracks evolution from dirt to asphalt and is intimately familiar with the track by loyal fans, drivers and officials. His past affiliations and relationships in the industry include Joe Gibbs Racing, Roush Racing, Michael Waltrip Racing, Toyots, NASCAR and countless support businesses dealing with tracks, merchandise, souvenirs and promotions.

“Brad has completed the cycle from fan to competitor to management and promoter, which gives him a unique platform from which to keep Ace Speedway moving forward,” said Woidislawsky.

Brad also has a long history in Go-Kart racing, which is a very important part of Ace. He competed in various classes of kart racing at tracks across the entire Eastern half of the United States from dirt tracks in Virginia, NC, SC, Georgia and Florida to asphalt tracks in Danville, Darlington, Daytona, Barnesville, Mid Ohio and Charlotte. Brad amassed over 200 feature wins in numerous division including championships at Liberty, Red Rock, Whitsett and the Virginia-Carolina Series in Danville. He also posted runner-up nationally in the prestigious WKA Series.

The rest of the Ace Speedway staff will remain intact with the exception of Larry Rose, who will pursue business opportunities unrelated to the operation of the speedway.

“We are all very happy to welcome Brad and look forward to his contributions,” Woidislawsky continued.
