TIRES, FUEL AND COOLANT RULES
1. There will be a tire rule in effect for all divisions at Ace Speedway. Refer to division rules for specific tire requirements. ACE Speedway’s NASCAR Late Model Stocks will compete under a two tire rule. All competitors may purchase a maximum of four (4) tires for the first race of the season.
Late Model Stock Car:
After the first race of the season, the maximum number of new tires allowed for use in competition will be two (2) per car. All cars will be limited to the use of two (2) new tires (maximum) in competition per race night. Competitors must leave no less than two (2) scuff tires in the tire building to be used for the next event or purchase two scuff tires from Ace Speedway tire cubicle to use in the next event. Additional tires may be purchased for practice or test session. These tires will be used for Testing or Practice only!
2. Only approved tires are permitted. No other tires will be allowed.
3. Tires that have been altered by internal or external means or additives will not be permitted.
4. Any illegal tire or tires found before qualifying or before the race will be impounded by track officials. Use of such altered tires could result in fines, disciplinary action and/or suspension for driver and/or owner.
5. Any illegal tire or tires found in a post-race inspection will be impounded by track officials and driver will be subject to disqualification, fines, loss of points, and/or suspension.
6. All Late Model, Modified, Limited Sportsman and Mini Stock Drivers must use Sunoco Racing Fuel in 2009. Gas will be tested to enforce this rule in 2009.
7. No anti-freeze will be allowed in any race car cooling system.
