* All Heat races will be 10 laps or 10 minutes. All Main events will be 20 laps or 20 minutes. Any class with 4 or less karts will run as follows: Heat Race – 6 laps, Main Race – 12 Laps.

Safety: This is the most important rule that will be enforced. Driver must have on all safety equipment prior to entering onto the track at any time this track is open. Approved helmet, racing jacket or suit, gloves, neck brace, and long pants. No long sleeve hirts may be used as a jacket.

Drivers: All Drivers are responsible for the actions of their pit crew. Any unacceptable action toward a competitor or official will result in the immediate disqualification of the kart and be removed from property. Fighting will not be allowed. Fine for fighting is $500.00 and 2 race suspemsion.Fine must be paid before returning to ace speedway. Should you start a fight with a track official or track personel,you will be taken to jail by the Alamance county sheriffs department and procecuted by ace speedway and be permanetly barred from the premises. Anyone caught Drinking or using any forien substance will be removed from the premises and barred from the track. No one is allowed in the flag stand exept authorzed personel.

Going on the track: Enter the track from turn 1 and exit turn 3, follow exit road to scales. Only one crew member will be allowed to enter scale area to assist driver with weighing kart, any violation may result in fines and or suspension.

On the grid: If you have trouble once on the grid and can’t start, move to a safe area. You will have 2 laps to fix the kart to make the race.You will not be allowed to enter the race once the green flag is displayed. If you exit the track for any reason during the race you will not be permitted to renter the track.

Starting the Races: The FLAGMAN will start the race. Once the karts leave the grid, no crew member allowed on the track unless the kart has to be restarted. Only one crew member allowed to go to the kart. You will have onlt 5 tries to start the kart. If the kart doesn’t start you will have to remove it from the track to a safe area. KID Class is allowed 1 person to assist them any time under caution. If ther is a caution before the first lap is completed, the field will restasrt the race single file. Once a lap is completed and a caution comes out,all competitors should raise their arms to slow the field down. Do not race back to the start line. You will be lined up for the restart by the last completed lap. If you bring out a caution you will go to the rear of the field.

Jumping Starts: On restarts the leader of the race will start the race at a specified place on the track that will be discussed at drivers meeting. Anyone passing another competitor on a restart prior to the leader starting will be BLACK FLAGGED immediately.

Cautions: It will be left up to the flagman to decide if a caution is needed. If a kart is out of harms way, no caution will be given. Once a kart has spun off the track, do not come back on to the track and stop to create a caution. If you do, you will be immediately BLACK FLAGGED and be removed from the race track.

Completed Race: Once the race is completed, all karts must exit the race track at the scales to weigh. Top 5 must weigh to receive Money. If you go to the pit before reporting to the scales you will be disqualified. If you are disqualified for any reason you will not be paid!.

Protests: All protests must be made at the scale house at the end of any race, heat or main. Once you leave the scale area you may not protest any kart. Fee to protest is
$100.00 and $50.00 to accept a protest.

* There will be a Five minute time limit on karts changing classes. Once the final call is made for the Starting grid of a race you will have five minutes to be on the Starting grid or the race will proceed
