Speedway FAQ

1. What is your policy on bringing coolers and alcohol?

Coolers are allowed, must be soft-sided 6-pack style (like Martinsville). By ABC law, no beer is permitted to be brought in if the business sells alcohol on premises

2. Do you offer handicap access?

Handicapped parking available and seating provided at the entrance to Turn 1, accessible to wheelchairs – additional assistance available on request

3. Do you offer discounts to military or police?

Ace Speedway offers several events throughout the year to honor our military and public service workers at a significant discount

4. Do you allow camping?

Camping is available, please check with the office for availability

5. Can my division or touring series bring an event to Ace?

All interested competitors are urged to contact the Ace Speedway office should there be interest regarding competing at the track. We encourage any and all to participate and ask only enough lead time to allow for scheduling. Please feel free to ask any questions regarding such.

6. What is your policy on renting the VIP rooms?

VIP rooms are available by reservation and individual seating is available. Groups must have minimum of 10 people to reserve a suite, maximum of 30 per suite. Please contact the Ace Speedway office regarding rental. Prices start at $350 and include food and beverage, including beer. Individual rates begin at $25 and subject to availability.

7. How can I get a job at Ace?

Seasonal positions remain available, mainly in the concession areas. Please contact the Ace Speedway office regarding potential employment. The season runs from March thru November and positions require a minimum of 5 hours work time.

8. I have won or been given free tickets, are there any restrictions on their use?

Free tickets or giveaways are typically good for any regularly scheduled event at Ace – normally a points event. Touring series or special events generally involve more parties with financial demands from the track and therefore these type tickets cannot be honored.

9. What is the policy for an event that has been shortened or called off for inclement weather?

The returned portion of the ticket, being a stub or coupon, will serve as the rain check for that event. Customers have the next 2 regular events in which the cancelled ticket will be honored. In the case of a special event on the schedule, the next 2 regular events will be eligible of redeeming the rain check. Special events have a built in rain date and will only be honored on that date. The featured event of the race night program will determine whether the race is deemed cancelled or completed – usually Late Model or Limited division, in this case.

10. Are there any group discounts available from the track?

Ace Speedway encourages group participation at our events. Discounts are available and every effort will be made to provide seating to accommodate your party. Please contact the Ace Speedway office regarding group rates and seating arrangements, many options are available.
